EMERITUS Final Event
The EMERITUS project is approaching its conclusion, with its official end taking place in August 2025.
Since its launch, EMERITUS has focused on strengthening the fight against waste-related environmental crimes by developing a new generation of technological tools and protocols tailored for Law Enforcement Authorities (LEAs) and Border Guards (BGs).
Through collaboration among project partners, the project has delivered a single-entry point platform, integrating innovative monitoring and analysis technologies, alongside a complementary training programme aimed at improving investigation and intelligence capabilities at both national and cross-border levels. The project also explored how such technologies and specialised training and enhance efficiency, reduce operational risks, and act as a deterrent to environmental crime.
