Environmental crimes: modelling, end-user needs and requirements
The goal is to collect and compile a comprehensive set of User and System Requirements to support the project’s objectives.
Investigation protocol co-creation
WP2 aims to create a baseline investigation protocol for waste environmental crime and integrate it with the EMERITUS platform.
Platform building blocks development and integration
WP3’s goal is to develop, adapt and operate all technological components, algorithms and data workflows from each of the technological contributors in the EMERITUS Platform.
Operational training and testing of the EMERITUS integrated solution
WP4 will create a common environment for technology providers to test the EMERITUS platform and organise and manage the EMERITUS International Training Programme for LEAs/BGs
Stakeholders’ community management and decision-support usage
WP5 aims at clustering a network of stakeholders within the EMERITUS community of practices (CoP) to facilitate international cooperation among LEAs and other relevant operators.

Dissemination, Communication and Exploitation
WP6 ensures the definition and implementation of a coherent set of dissemination, communication and exploitation (D&C&E) activities to maximise the impact of project results among all potential stakeholders.
Project management
WP7’s objective is to set up and run an efficient project management structure that provides the necessary technical, economic, managerial and administrative support.
Ethics requirements
WP8 sets out the “ethics requirements” that the project must comply with and ensures their fulfilment.
